We have a tradition dating back to 2013 of hosting a gala for our research participants. These galas provide an occasion to thank our participants for their participation and their sustained efforts, all the while keeping them informed on the latest news on current research.

We held our annual Gala in an enchanting setting at L’Espace Canal du Château St-Ambroise, on September 4, 2024. There were 150 people participating in the event!

Despite the very cold weather and the rain, we were about 100 people gathered under the dance floor canopy, seeking a little heat by the patio heaters for our 2023 gala!

We'd like to thank all the participants, volunteers, and members of the Douglas Foundation who, on September 10, 2023, joined our first Bouge Bouge Verdun event despite the cold and the rain.

There was such an energy emanating from this grand sporting event and we felt a surge of pride seeing the 60 purple PREVENT-AD jerseys from our group blending into this intergenerational crowd of over 1,000 people. 

A great occasion to socialize and move together, for the health of our brains!
